Biography
Hiya! My name is Daniela Rojo and I am a freelance film director, writer, cinematographer and editor based in Toronto, Canada. I started off writing stories as a young child, and I was 8 years old when I was first exposed to the fascinating world of content creation and visual media. Throughout the years of being invested in creating little movies for my friends and family as a child, I knew inevitably that I wanted to pursue a career in filmmaking. At the age of 17, I later on went to study Video Design and Production at George Brown College and graduated in 2022.
As a woman of color in a white man’s world, I have often found difficulty in both expressing my sentiments to the world and making sense of my experiences. The art of filmmaking has blessed me with a voice that I lack in verbal words, and for that, I will forever be grateful.
