Kerim Furkan Albayrak

He was born on 1 August 2003 in IST/Şişli. Growing up in a city where night and day blend together and everything is in stark contrast to one another must have greatly developed his observational skills; images, light and storytelling became central to his life. His interest in cinema began in childhood with the animated films his family showed him, which were his first real cinema experience; animation became a new lifeblood flowing through his veins. At the ages of 9 and 10, he appeared as an extra in various TV series and later received short-term theatre training at the Nejat Uygur Stage. He completed his secondary education at the Zeytinburnu Information Technology Department. He took a break before starting his university education. He has been working in the field of video and photography for almost ten years.
