Sami ElSalamouny

Sami El-Salamouni studied at the Institute of Cinema and the Institute for Artistic Appreciation after completing his university studies at the Faculty of Arts, Department of Journalism .. He later tried several attempts at short documentary films, namely: City ... 1971 and Boredom ... 1972 and Cowboy ... 1973 and the morning ... 1982 and the train ... 1989 and the moment ... 1991. He also participated in preparing some television programs on cinema, such as: (Stars and Movies) and (Yesterday and Today's Cinema). Sami El Salamouny was keen in his film criticism to be honest and frank. He wrote articles on football. Sami El-Salamouny was a member of the Film Association, then Chairman of its Board of Directors from 1972 to 1977, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Cairo Film Club.
