Jonathan Karl

Jonathan Karl is ABC News chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of This Week with George Stephanopoulos. He is also the President of the White House Correspondents' Association and author of the forthcoming book "Front Row at the Trump Show" (March 2020). Karl has broad experience covering U.S. politics, foreign policy and the military, and has reported from more than 30 countries. His reporting drives news cycles and has been recognized with some of the most prestigious honors in journalism, including the Walter Cronkite Award for National Individual Achievement and the National Press Foundation's Everett McKinley Dirksen Award, the highest honor for Congressional reporting.
